Jane has worked with clients in both public and private health settings, including the provision of neuropsychological assessments. These involve exploring the interactions between brain function, thinking/memory, and mental health, for the purpose of diagnosis and/or rehabilitation relating to a brain injury or disorder.
Therapeutically, Jane works with adult clients with a range of concerns, including functional neurological disorder (FND), mood and anxiety disorders, and neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury. She employs evidence-based methods tailored to individual client needs, drawing primarily from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy(ACT).
Jane's research focuses on the intersection of music and cognition, particularly how we perceive and understand musical pitch.
